With cost-of-living pressures increasing, I take the role of delivering value for your rates seriously. When councils operate at their best the savings add up to millions of dollars. I introduced performance budgeting to our council. This can improve efficiency and accountability.
Great places and spaces are important for our quality of life. I know this matters. Before I came onto council we had to cross the river to take our kids to a decent playground. My voice helped change the mindset of Council and showed the importance of these spaces. I am proud of what we achieved with Simmons Park and Bellerive Beach Park. In this term I’ll work with fellow Councillors to deliver more great places and spaces in other parts of Clarence.
