About

My childhood was spent in Lindisfarne and at a property along Acton road (at a time predating the suburb of Acton).

I am married to Alison and have a three month old son Campbell. We are presently in the process of getting our first home built. This is providing me with first hand experience of the Clarence Planning Scheme.

Throughout my career I have worked extensively in the health care sector in Australia and overseas. For the most part this has been in podiatry, but also in practice management and health workforce planning.

Canoeing around Geilston Bay

I enjoy bush and coastal walks, cooking and Canadian canoeing (especially when the Derwent is a millpond). I value choice, thrift and reward for effort and am committed to ensuring that all Tasmanians can access high quality heath and education services.
